The 41-year-old dad took to Twitter just two days after his wife Brittany Cartwright gave birth to their first child -- a son named Cruz -- to give Colton Underwood props for coming out, stating that "life is way too short" not live your truth.

Reposting the former Bachelorette contestant's GMA interview with Robin Wright, Jax Taylor wrote, "Bless this guys heart, to finally be able to live your truth. I hope everyone sees this that struggles with big life decisions and realizes, life is way too short not to be happy."

He also made it clear that while he doesn't watch the show or know anything about Underwood, he's "happy for him."

It's an interesting move considering the ex-SUR bartender has been called out in the past for allegedly being "homophobic." After Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doubte were fired by Bravo for a racist incident, fans immediately called for Jax to be on the network's chopping block next.

Pump Rules viewers called the controversial star "homophobic" and "racist," with Lance Bass coming to his defense. The *NSYNC singer, who actually officiated Jax and Brittany's wedding, said Taylor was just "ignorant."

Prior to Lance Bass jumping in for the nuptials, the Vanderpump Rules duo's wedding was riddled with controversy when it was exposed that the pastor who was their first choice had spoken out about opposing the legalization of gay marriage, transgender pastors, abortion, and more.

Their Bravo cast was furious at the couple who they thought decided to ignore the issues instead of deal with it. His groomsman Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix were openly disgusted at Jax and Brittany's lack of action.

The stars eventually caved in, despite Brittany standing up for her pastor, and asked Lance Bass to fill in. Besides the "homophobic" accusations against Jax, there has always been speculation circulating about his sexuality.

In one episode, the cast held a birthday roast for Jax where someone brought up the rumor that Jax had an alleged relationship with his male roommate in Miami. This did not sit well with Brittany, whose mom was in attendance.

Jeff Lewis also stirred the pot when he brought up the rumors on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. "I think maybe he did fool around, yeah, but that's OK," the home designer said. "I think he had a little fling."
