Tristan Thompson's Alleged Third Baby Mama Maralee Nichols Breaks Silence, Denies Leaking Stories

Tristan Thompson's alleged third baby mama has broken her silence on the scandal that's taken over the internet since it went public earlier this month.
Up until today, all we knew about Maralee Nichols was that she worked in the fitness industry, was from Houston, Texas, and was suing the NBA star over child support for a newborn baby she alleged was his.
Contrary to what the 30-year-old Sacramento Kings forward has stated in court documents, the new mother insists she has not leaked any stories to the press and claims her relationship with Thompson was far more involved than he made it out to be.
"Over the past couple of weeks, many inaccurate and false stories have been circulated about me. I have not at any point released – nor have I directed anyone else to release – any information regarding Tristan Thompson or any litigation involving him," she told E! News on Friday, adding that she has "never spoken to any media outlet, nor have I leaked any information to anyone at any time."
Additionally, she says she did "everything possible" to not draw attention to herself throughout her pregnancy.
Nichols insists she is "providing this statement because I feel I must defend my character."
"I have seen fake stories, unflattering photos of me, people using photos that are not even me, stating an incorrect occupation and age," she told the outlet. "There have been multiple fake Instagram posts claiming to be me, making false statements and attaching stock photos of a sonogram and a child (neither mine)."
According to Maralee, she has "lived in California since 2019," which rejects the idea that she moved in order to pursue legal action against Tristan in California rather than in Texas, as had been suggested.
She claims she met the athlete at a party at his Encino home in 2020 and was "never" his personal trainer. In fact, she says she has not worked as a personal trainer in several years. She says she works now in "fitness modeling."
"I saw Tristan in March 2021 around his birthday," she told E! "He told me he had wanted to see me. I agreed to meet him in Houston at a private party on March 12."
"I never drove a Maserati to meet Tristan, as he claimed. He has never even been in my vehicle. I used an Uber or was driven by friends that weekend," she insisted, adding that "Houston was one of many nights we spent together. Soon after his birthday weekend in Houston, Tristan invited me to visit him in Boston."
At that time, Thompson would have been playing for the Celtics.

Nichols said she learned she was pregnant a few weeks after that trip to Boston and told Thompson about it at the end of April while the two were in North Carolina together.
She said she was induced on Nov. 29 due to "a placenta abnormality" and that she gave birth on Dec. 1.
"Instead of focusing on any negativity, I am choosing to embrace being a mother and doing the best I can for my son," she told the outlet. "I do not want any further media attention, nor do I want a romantic relationship with Tristan. My goal is to raise our son in a safe, healthy, loving and private environment."
Maralee's baby was conceived when Tristan was publicly dating Khloe Kardashian, his second baby mama. DNA test results are pending.
