Tori Spelling Breaks Silence On Death Of Rescue Dog Arthur And Drops Unsubtle Hints At Troubled Marriage With Dean McDermott
Tori Spelling is grieving the loss of her furry best friend, Arthur, whose love for her was unconditional – unlike that of her on-the-rocks husband, Dean McDermott.
In her emotional tribute to the senior pup she and Dean rescued during the 2018 California Woolsey Fire, 48-year-old Tori dropped several unsubtle hints about her troubled marriage to the 54-year-old Canadian actor.
In addition to mentioning her bedroom, the Beverly Hills, 90210 star also made sure to note that she and Arthur "were made for each other."
"Dogs give us unconditional love. Unlike humans," she wrote, adding that Arthur was "one of the greatest loves of my life."
"It breaks my heart that we had to say goodbye to Arthur Bear Reynolds," Spelling captioned the heartbreaking photo montage on Instagram Reels, which was set to the tune of Brandi Carlile's The Story. "We rescued Arthur during The Woolsey fires. So thankful to @muchloveanimalrescue for giving me the privilege to be Arthur's forever mom."
"Sadly senior rescues are not as desirable as puppies," she continued. "But, if you have the opportunity to be a forever home to a senior pet do it! It's life changing."
Tori went on to say that "Arthur was close to 20 when he passed. We didn't get a long time with him but I've cherished the years we had together. I was his human. He was one of the greatest loves of my life. I told him all the time I wish we had met each other when he was a pup. He was so loving. He loved having the kids all over him. He was such a warrior! He never gave up. Such strength and will. I will miss him forever."

She continued, "My room seems so empty now without him. The music I put to these pics popped into my head as I held his paw for the last time."
Spelling said she hadn't listened to The Story "in years but after I did it made complete sense. Arthur and I were made for each other. Dogs give us unconditional love. Unlike humans. Yet, it's our pets we have the shortest journey with. I hope you are running thru beautiful fields now Arthur."
She concluded her sentimental post with a simple "I ️[heart emoji] U. xoxo."
Dean posted a touching tribute of his own, but he told a bit of a different story about his feelings toward his wife.
In addition to tagging Tori, he also spoke in "we" and "us" and made no reference to their rocky relationship.
But as RadarOnline.com has reported, Spelling and McDermott have really been going through it. They have not been spotted with each other in months, and neither has been wearing their wedding ring.
Plus, Dean hasn't been sleeping in the couple's master bedroom.
Though he's tried dropping thirsty comments on some of his wife's recent posts, she has yet to respond publicly.
