Sheriff's deputies arrived at Britney Spears' home just hours before her conservatorship hearing over a "civil issue."

A spokesperson for the Ventura County Sheriff's Department tells RadarOnline.com, the 39-year-old pop star arrived at their office on Tuesday but was only there for a "brief period" before begging officers to meet her at her house.

RadarOnline.com has learned deputies agreed and went to Britney's nearby property. We're told the Grammy winner gave officers information about a "civil issue," but no report was taken.

In the documents, a court official pointed out how frustrated the star is with her dad's power over her life. “She articulated she feels the conservatorship has become an oppressive and controlling tool against her," the official wrote.

Britney also alleged that her father forced her into a mental health facility in 2019. She reportedly told the court Jamie would pressure her to perform against her will.

Over the past few years, the Lucky singer has become more vocal about wanting Jamie removed from the conservatorship. She has even refused to perform if he continues to take charge of her life.

Britney's conservatorship hearing is set to begin at 1:30 PST.
