Shanna Moakler's ex-boyfriend Matthew Rondeau isn't trying to repair his relationship with the former Playboy Playmate. He tells RadarOnline.com, their on-again, off-again romance is done after she had him arrested for domestic violence — a crime Rondeau says he didn't do.
Speaking to RadarOnline.com, the 29-year-old model fiercly declared his innocence on Tuesday just six days after the alleged altercation went down. "I will never speak to her after what she is putting me through," he tells us, referring to the backlash that has followed him after his arrest. "Would you go back to someone who put you through this for fame?"
"I never hit her or beat her," Rondeau proclaims, before later revealing, "I wanted a family and a life with her."
According to Rondeau, he's moving on with life after Moakler. He has no plans to talk to her in the future, even taking preventative measures like blocking her from contacting him via phone and social media. "I'm an innocent man going through the toughest obstacle of his entire life so far," the model tells us.
"I would never harm her or anyone," he adds. "I don't have that fiber in my body."
As RadarOnline.com reported, Rondeau was taken into custody by the Los Angeles Police Department for felony domestic violence against the 46-year-old on Thursday. The details of the arrest report are shocking.
"[Rondeau] grabbed victim by the hair, [swinging] her by hair on the ground," it reads, alleging he then "grabbed [Moakler's] face and neck, threw chair at victim and urinated on [her], leaving visible injuries."
But Rondeau tells us a different story.
"I am not a woman beater. Period. I love and respect women," Rondeau says. According to him, he never saw their relationship ending, especially in such a horrific, public way.
"I love her and wanted to spend my life with her," he reveals. "I can't believe this is happening. I would never harm the woman I want to call my wife."
Rondeau also claims he and his family are receiving death threats over the allegations. He alleges strangers are saying "the worst things" to him and those related to him.
As for what's next, the model tells RadarOnline.com he's going to "need therapy" for all the "trauma" he's going through over the alleged crime he insists he "did not commit."
Rondeau's court date is set for June 23.
RadarOnline.com has reached out to Moakler's rep for comment. So far, no word back.
