Prince Harry's Surprise TV Appearance in Vancouver Without Meghan Markle Sparks Talk Duke 'Wants Space' From 'Duchess Difficult'

Prince Harry may "want space" from Meghan Markle.
RadarOnline.com can reveal the Duke of Sussex recently surprised fans with an unplanned TV appearance in Canada, attending one of the country’s premier sporting events — the Grey Cup. Harry, flying solo without his Duchess, was in Vancouver to catch the Canadian football final between the Toronto Argonauts and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
Before kickoff, the reluctant HRH shared his excitement in an interview with The Sports Network, joking that quarterback would be his position of choice if he played. Flashing his "trademark smile," he greeted fans with enthusiasm, even giving the crowd a cheerful thumbs-up. In other words, all the things royal fans loved about the fiery-haired prince before he teamed up with "Duchess Difficult."
Harry’s visit ties in with his ongoing advocacy work, as Vancouver is set to host the Invictus Games in February 2025, marking the first time the tournament will include winter sports. Events are also planned for Whistler, promising a unique chapter in the game's history.
However, another Meghan-less event led a source to spill: "The Duke and Duchess have now hit their stride as individuals — not just as a couple. The Duke appears focused on his patronage work, and the Duchess focused on her entrepreneurial track."
Another insider shared, "[It's] as much a reflection on parenting priorities, in that one of them stays behind with the children."
Meanwhile, the former Suits supporting player made headlines of her own, enjoying a glamorous Hollywood party on Friday, November 15, to celebrate the launch of a new haircare line by Highbrow Hippie, co-founded by her friend and celebrity stylist Kadi Lee.
This comes shortly after the couple’s joint video message advocating for children’s online safety, presented at a United Nations conference.
While their solo outings have raised eyebrows, a third source suggests this "simply reflects a natural evolution in their roles." Harry is focusing on his charitable projects, while Meghan is exploring entrepreneurial ventures.
The couple’s independent strides are reportedly balanced by shared parenting duties, with one staying home with their children during the other’s engagements. Far from signaling distance, these separate paths highlight their growth as individuals while remaining committed as a family.
Many royal analysts believe the Duke will leave his California wife one day for a permanent return home to the United Kingdom.
Veteran royal author and historian Hugo Vickers told royal editor Matt Wilkinson on "The Sun's Royal Exclusive" podcast that the rebel Duke is currently overflowing with "anger" and an intense fear of losing his Duchess, but this "dysfunction" cannot continue much longer.
Meghan has reportedly made it clear she "will never live in Britain" ever again.
