Chaos Erupts At Palace After It's Revealed Prince Harry Kept Secret Memoir From Dad, Prince Charles 'Surprised' By Son's Book Plans
Prince Harry caused quite a stir with his royal family when it was revealed he's been working on a super-secret memoir over the past year.
News of the book was so private, the 36-year-old Duke of Sussex neglected to mention it to his estranged father, Prince Charles.
An insider told Page Six, "chaos" erupted at Kensington Palace on Monday following the announcement, with Charles being “surprised” about his youngest son's latest venture.
“No one knew,” a royal source told the outlet. “There was chaos when the Page Six story came out.”
The yet-to-be-titled book is scheduled to be released next year.
With only minor details about the memoir revealed, it's unclear if Harry's criticism against his father will make the cut.
Harry's book is being set up for gold -- it has already reportedly been sold to Penguin Random House and his ghostwriter is J. R. Moehringer.

Moehringer's impressive work is miles long. He was the ghostwriter for pro-tennis star Andre Agassi's memoir and captured Nike founder Phil Knight's life story.
His own autobiography was so moving that Academy Award winner George Clooney is turning it into a movie.
“In an intimate and heartfelt memoir from one of the most fascinating and influential global figures of our time, Prince Harry will share, for the very first time, the definitive account of the experiences, adventures, losses, and life lessons that have helped shape him," the blurb for the book reads.
The memoir will cover topics like “his lifetime in the public eye from childhood to the present day, including his dedication to service, the military duty that twice took him to the frontlines of Afghanistan, and the joy he has found in being a husband and father."
While the manuscript was first reportedly due in August, the palace has another few months to breathe. Page Six's source claims the date has been pushed until October.
When Harry returned to London last month for the unveiling of Princess Diana's statue, Charles got the hell out of Dodge.
He ended up in Scotland, completely missing his son's trip back home.
