EXCLUSIVE: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle 'Eyeing BBC and UK Broadcasters for New Cash Flow'

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are eyeing British broadcasters, including the BBC, as they explore a potentially lucrative new source of television income following their dramatic return to the UK, entertainment sources have told RadarOnline.com.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, 41 and 45, are expected to retain their $29million Montecito home while spending an extended period in Britain with their kids, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five.
Prince Harry and Markle have explored new television deals with UK networks, sources claimed.
The move comes six years after they left royal duties for California, where reported multimillion-dollar agreements with Netflix and Spotify initially promised to transform them into major entertainment players.
A well-placed, senior British television industry source claimed: "Harry and Meghan aren't abandoning America, but being based in Britain again opens an entirely different marketplace. There are conversations to be had with British broadcasters, including the BBC and major commercial networks, about documentaries, factual programming and projects where their names can still command significant attention."
"Meghan and Harry are especially eyeing the BBC as a potential source of a new cash flow when they move back to Britain," the insider claimed.
Inside Their Failed Multimillion Dollar Deals
Netflix produced the widely watched documentary series titled 'Harry and Meghan.'
The Sussexes' original reported $100million Netflix agreement produced the hugely successful Harry & Meghan, alongside Heart of Invictus, Polo and other programming.
But several announced projects never reached audiences, including the animated series Pearl and an adaptation of Carley Fortune's novel Meet Me at the Lake.
The couple's reported $20million Spotify agreement ended in 2023 after Markle's Archetypes ran for 12 full episodes.
Spotify executive Bill Simmons subsequently attacked the Sussexes publicly, calling them "f------ grifters."
Markle later launched Confessions of a Female Founder through Lemonada Media and expanded her lifestyle ambitions through As Ever, the brand originally introduced as American Riviera Orchard.
Her Netflix lifestyle series With Love, Meghan lasted two seasons, while the Sussexes' Archewell Productions has continued developing film and television projects.

The couple's polo documentary failed to reach Netflix's global top ten list.
Another industry source claimed: "The attraction of British television is that Harry and Meghan would not necessarily need another enormous exclusive streaming contract. Individual projects could potentially be developed with different broadcasters, allowing them to generate revenue while keeping far greater flexibility over what they make and where it appears."
Their strongest entertainment successes have generally centered on their own lives. The 2021 Oprah Winfrey interview became a global television event, Harry & Meghan attracted a huge Netflix audience, and Harry's memoir Spare sold millions of copies worldwide.
Other projects have struggled to generate comparable attention. Polo, focusing on the elite sport played by Harry, failed to reach Netflix's global top 10, while Heart of Invictus attracted less attention than the couple's autobiographical series.
The Sussexes' return could also give British producers easier access to Harry for programming connected to causes including the Invictus Games.

Markle has explored a potential return to acting through Guy Ritchie's TV series, insiders claimed.
An insider said: "Harry remains an internationally recognizable figure with an extraordinary personal story, and Meghan has years of television experience. British broadcasters understand the publicity value attached to them. The question is finding formats that audiences want beyond another examination of the Royal Family."
The pair is not expected to resume duties as working royals, despite Harry's improving relationship with King Charles III, 77.
It's also been reported that Markle is in talks to resurrect her acting career by appearing in Guy Ritchie's popular Netflix series The Gentlemen.
Sources claimed that over the weekend the negotiations had been killed off, but insiders now insist they are still on as part of Markle's plans to raise cash after she and her family move back to Harry's homeland with their two children.
