Mean girl Nicole Kidman has accused her former Big Little Lies costar Alexander Skarsgard of having bad breath – and the livid Swede is firing back.
"Alex was pretty stunned when he heard what Nicole said about him," an insider told RadarOnline.com.
The two shared makeout scenes when filming the popular HBO hit – and in real life, Kidman, 58, planted a smooch on Skarsgard's lips after he won an Emmy for his role on the show in 2017, while her then-husband Keith Urban stood nearby and applauded.
Kiss-and-Tell Drama Sparks Backlash

Alexander Skarsgard felt 'betrayed' after Nicole Kidman shared a story about his breath during filming of 'Big Little Lies,' an insider claimed.
"He always thought they had a great working relationship, so for her to tell this embarrassing tidbit about him in an interview just to get a laugh is a real knife in the back," revealed the insider.
The kiss-and-basher seemed to justify outing the 49-year-old Skarsgard's less than fresh breath by claiming halitosis is a deal-breaker for her.
"When Alexander Skarsgard ate a falafel sandwich before we did the scenes in Big Little Lies, I'm like, 'No, no, no, Alex. I'm meant to be into you and kissing you – put away the falafel now,'" she recounted on the Las Culturistas podcast.
Skarsgard Feels Betrayed by Reveal

Kidman recalled telling Skarsgard, 'No, no, no, Alex... put away the falafel now,' before filming kissing scenes on 'Big Little Lies.'
"It might seem like he's overreacting, but it's no exaggeration to say he feels betrayed," said the source. "He knows the internet never forgets, so he's got every reason to worry that he'll never shake this. He's a confident guy, but he's also very private and the last thing he wants is people dissecting something so personal about him."
However, a rep for the actor denies our story and says Skarsgard is not only likely unaware of any recent comments pertaining to him, but "if he is, would not care at all."
Friendship Over After Podcast Dig

A source said Skarsgard no longer considers Kidman 'a real friend' after her comments about him resurfaced.
But, the source pointed out, Nicole "won't be someone he counts as a real friend anymore. She had no problem kissing him when the two were promoting the show, so he finds it pretty pathetic that she's dragging out this story now just to have something to say on a podcast."
