Nick Jonas & Priyanka Chopra Welcome Secret Baby Via Surrogate, Weeks After Divorce Rumors
Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra have welcomed a secret newborn baby via surrogate. The bombshell news comes only weeks after fans expressed concerns that the celebrity couple was heading towards a divorce.
According to the 29-year-old singer’s Instagram, he and his wife have added an infant to their family.
“We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate,” Nick wrote on Friday. “We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much,” the announcement ends.
The Jonas Brother band member also tagged Priyanka in the comments, along with another red heart emoji.
The announcement may come as surprise to fans since just weeks ago there were rumors swirling that the power couple was breaking up after Priyanka removed Jonas from her social media profiles.
“WAIT NICK AND PRIYANKA BROKE UP?" one person asked after seeing that Priyanka changed her social media profile in November.
"NICK AND PRIYANKA??? WTF IS HAPPENING,” another fan of the couple wrote, clearly not happy with the thought that a divorce between the two might be imminent.

The split scare in November was not the first time there were rumors there might have been trouble in paradise. Last February, fans thought things were amiss when the pair didn’t spend Valentine’s Day together.
While many speculated it was the end of the famous couple’s marriage, it was later revealed the two couldn’t spend the gushy holiday together because of work.
Nick was fulfilling his judge duties on The Voice, and Priyanka was filming an upcoming movie in London.
"My forever Valentine. I love you,” Priyanka wrote on social media about her husband, along with a photo of herself and a bunch of roses her beau sent her.
"For better or worse, hold on, cause it only gets better. Happy Valentine's Day @priyankachopra thank you for filling every day with happiness and peace,” Nick wrote. “I love you to the moon and back."
After welcoming a baby into their family, it's probably safe to say they'll be sticking together for a while — or at least, the next 18 years.
