Meghan Markle has some "regrets" about Kate, Princess of Wales, RadarOnline.com has learned.
"She wants to make peace with Kate," a source spilled. "She doesn’t want any bad blood between them."
"Meghan's friends say she regrets how things went down, and she never meant any harm to Kate," they added. "Though, she must realize she could’ve done things differently. Meghan’s been going out of her way to show concern for Kate in this difficult time."
If reports are to be believed, the ex-actress and royal-turned-dog biscuit manufacturer is all in her feelings about Kate's cancer struggle. She also feels remorse about the feud that has raged between them since she asked to use Kate's lip gloss at an event in early 2018.
"Harry is more willing to move on, let’s just say that," another Sussex insider told an outlet. "It’s not a case of Meghan being difficult, she genuinely feels hurt and would like some kind of sit down to hash things through — but that’s not something the other side is willing to consider at this time."
"Harry and Meghan are expecting an apology and so are senior members of the royal family," they added. "It’s got to the point now where both sides can’t see where they’ve gone wrong and there’s no meeting in the middle. It’s a stalemate."
Relations between Team Sussex and King Charles III are said to be "intact but still distant," whereas Queen Camilla, and "certainly" Prince William along with the Princess of Wales feel differently.
To add insult to injury, previous reports further revealed that Harry "can't stand" his stepmother, and this has allegedly been the case for years.
As for the king and queen-in-waiting, "that’s going to take a lot of reconciliation," royal reporter Michael Cole revealed. "Harry is going to have to mend a few fences."
On the flip side, one royal analyst feels that the same level of animosity between the royal brothers exists between Kate and Meghan.
"Meghan doesn’t feel guilty about Kate, because she feels that Kate should’ve been the one person in the royal family to back her against every difficulty," royal author Tom Quinn added when discussing the two senior royals with an outlet.
Apart from anything else, Meghan knew Kate was an outsider, so she just couldn’t understand why Kate always towed the royal line rather than supporting her, Meghan, the other outsider," he added. "Kate’s cancer diagnosis has been a real shock for Meghan, but she can see no way to patch up the relationship simply because it has become so poisonous."
He continued: "She also doesn’t want people saying that she is trying to make things up with Kate just because Kate is ill. Meghan still feels Kate was in the wrong and should apologize before they try to build bridges."
The New York Post reported on the insider revelations.
