Matt Damon Breaks Silence On Ben Affleck's Romance With Ex-Fiancée Jennifer Lopez
Matt Damon is speaking out about his best friend Ben Affleck's steamy reunion with Jennifer Lopez.
The 50-year-old actor weighed in on the Bennifer 2.0 romance rumors when he appeared on Today with Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb.
The morning show host's couldn't help but gossip about the photos circulating the web showing Affleck and Lopez in Montana together over the weekend.
They just so happened to have Affleck's best bro on the show to promote his new movie, Stillwater, and asked him to dish out details.
At first, Damon was hesitant.
"There's not enough liquor in the world for you to get me to say something about that," he joked when he was first probed by the duo.
Then, the Goodwill Hunting actor played coy.
Acting as if he just heard about Affleck and Lopez's reunion, Damon claimed, "I was sitting here waiting to come on TV. It's the first time I heard about it."
But he didn't hold back, revealing just like the rest of the world, he hoped the romance rumors were true!
"It's a fascinating story. I hope it's true," Damon told Guthrie and Kotb. "I love them both. I hope it's true. That would be awesome."
The Internet went wild after Jen and Ben were spotted together on a snowy getaway but don't get your hopes up on a romance just yet.

RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned the singer isn't 100% sold on getting back together with Affleck.
We're told she is just "testing the waters" and has major reservations, including Ben's dating video that recently went viral.
"He’s a good man and a good friend, but not husband material,” our insider said, adding, "She’s still angry with Alex [Rodriguez] and might have wanted revenge."
The source also said that the video of Ben "creeping around a much younger lady" isn't helping matters.
"Don’t forget Alex was accused of contacting a younger lady on social media too while they were engaged. It has all been triggering for Jen," the source told RadarOnline.com.
As for Alex Rodriguez, he's having a hard time with the idea of his ex-fiancée getting back together with Affleck.
He's "shocked" and "upset" by the news and even reportedly called J Lo to discuss his feelings but she wasn't having it.
"She's not interested in rekindling anything with A-Rod and is done," a source told E! News.
