Louie Anderson is currently in a hospital getting cancer treatment after being diagnosed with Lymphoma.

According to reports, the 68-year-old Coming To America star is being treated for Diffuse large B-cell Lymphoma at an undisclosed hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The news comes just days after fellow comedian Bob Saget's unexpected death.

While the type of cancer Louie has been diagnosed with is known as aggressive, it's also one of the most curable. According to the funnyman's rep, Glenn Schwartz, he doing okay and resting comfortably.

Louie's collected three Academy Awards in his more than 30-year Hollywood career. Comedy Central also named him "one of 100 greatest stand-up comedians of all time."

The comedian has struggled with his weight in the past but revealed he dropped more than 30 pounds during the pandemic after practicing intermediate fasting.

Louie has remained out of the spotlight recently, despite Saget's death. He has not posted on Twitter since November and his last post on Instagram was a dedication to his sister in October.

It's unclear when he was diagnosed with cancer.

While Louie did not speak out about Saget's death, he saw the Full House actor just months ago. The pals sat down in May and chopped it up on an episode of Saget's podcast, Bob Saget's Hear For You.

The old friends spent the entire episode laughing and even gave each other shoutouts on Twitter after their time together. "Love TODAY’S NEW EPISODE with my pal @LouieAnderson -Titled: “Louie Anderson and Bob Discuss the Therapeutic Nature of Comedy and How Louie Channeled His Mom for His Role in 'Baskets,'" Saget wrote on May 31.

Louie reciprocated the love, retweeting the post and replying, "Had a Blast doing @bobsaget Podcast!"

As reported, Saget was found dead in his Orlando, Florida, hotel room earlier this month just hours after doing a stand-up comedy show.

His cause of death has yet to be determined, but “detectives found no signs of foul play or drug use in this case.” However, those on the scene allegedly suspect the comedian could have suffered a heart attack or stroke.

Saget was only 65 years old.
