Leonardo DiCaprio Buys Mom $7.1 Million Los Angeles Home That Used To Belong To 'Modern Family' Star Jesse Tyler Ferguson
Leonardo DiCaprio is the ultimate son because he just plunked down millions for his mom to live in her own sprawling Los Angeles home.
The 46-year-old Oscar winner -- whose net worth is estimated to be $260 million -- shelled out $7.1 million on a Spanish Colonial-style house for his mama, Irmelin Indenbirken, in the ritzy area of Los Feliz.
This isn't just any home either.
Leo purchased the stunning 5,000 square foot home from Modern Family star Jesse Tyler Ferguson and his husband, Justin Mikita.
The charming white home with turquoise trim has four bedrooms and six bathrooms, so there's plenty of room for her famous son when he wants to visit.
Her new backyard features a lovely courtyard, which is perfect for al fresco dining, a pool, a hot tub, and gorgeous views of Griffith Park.
It also features its very own sauna and has a detached zen and meditation room.
Described as "one of L.A’s prettiest homes," Leo's purchase for his mom has no short of space or security.
The property is gated and above street level. It has a long driveway that leads to a three-car garage.

The home features a grand foyer with stained glass windows, sprawling staircases, high ceilings, and extravagant archways.
The chef’s kitchen features all the bells and whistles.
His mom's home also has a media room with a projector so she can watch any of Leo's award-winning movies at her own leisure.
Prior to Jesse Tyler Ferguson, the mansion also belonged to Gwen Stefani, who purchased the home in 1998 with her then-husband Gavin Rossdale for just $1.4 million!
This is the second home that Leo has bought in the Los Feliz area.
Ironically, he purchased a home for his father, George DiCaprio, stepmom, Peggy Ann Farra, and niece, Normandie, in the gorgeous neighborhood too.
Leo forked over $4.9 million in 2018 for the mansion, which is only a six-minute drive from his mom's new pad.
The listing was held by Jennifer Akbari of Compass who represented Ferguson. Brett Lawyer of Hilton and Hyland represented DiCaprio in the sale.
