Kim Kardashian is ignoring her estranged husband Kanye West's plea for a reconciliation. She just filed documents asking the judge to declare her legally single amid their divorce battle.
The 41-year-old former Keeping Up With The Kardashians star is turning the knife even deeper because she wants to ditch her ex's famous last name. Kim no longer wants West attached to her identity. Instead, she's asking the judge to restore her maiden name.
According to reports, Kim wants the issues of child custody and property kept separate from the duo's marital status. If the judge signs off, it means Kim can marry whoever she wants — we're looking at you, Pete Davidson.
This is a common move for A-listers who want to move on with their lives amid divorce. Kelly Clarkson and Dr. Dre — who are both repped by Kim's lawyer Laura Wasser — pulled the same stunt.

Kim filed for divorce in February after 6 years of marriage. The exes share four children together — North, 8, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2. All the kids have West as their last name.
While Kim doesn't reveal the reason in her documents, the name change could have something to do with her new romance. The KUWTK star has been linked to Davidson since October after they shared a steamy kiss as Jasmine and Aladdin on Saturday Night Live.
They have been inseparable since and packing on the PDA in Los Angeles and New York City. As for Kanye, he most recently was linked to model Vinetria. After last night's performance, the rapper is probably single again.
