Kanye West Punts Malfunctioning Microphone To The Ground At 'Donda 2' Listening Party, Samples Kim Kardashian's 'SNL' Monologue

Kanye West's Donda 2 listening party delivered exactly what many of us expected it to deliver.
During the event – which was held on Tuesday at LoanDepot Park Stadium in Miami, Florida – the 44-year-old rapper punted his malfunctioning microphone to the ground, paid homage to his estranged wife (and in turn, himself), took multiple swipes at her new boyfriend, brought out an accused serial abuser and failed to drop the album for which the show was held.
Clips from various parts of the headline-nabbing soirée showed Ye dressed in head-to-toe black with his famous piercing light-colored contacts as the focal point of his ensemble.
He bopped around on the wet, poorly lit stage as background vocals blared behind him and a replica of his childhood home literally burned.
Before beginning the musical part of the show, Kanye played a sample of Kim Kardashian's Saturday Night Live monologue, in which she said, "I married the best rapper of all time. Not only that, he is the richest Black man in America. A talented, legit genius who gave me four incredible kids."
West conveniently left out the next line of the speech, in which Kardashian joked about their divorce and took a jab at his "personality."
Just like he did at last year's Donda listening party, Kanye brought out Marilyn Manson (who's been accused of sexual abuse and domestic violence by more than 15 women) and DaBaby (who last year made sexist and anti-LGBTQIA+ remarks as well as damaging and untrue statements about HIV/AIDS) to join him for the track, Jail.
Noticing that something was off with the sound, Ye decided to throw his microphone to the ground, which of course made some awful banging noises and hefty splashes on the way down.
Unsurprisingly, West did not pass up the opportunity to take aim at Kardashian's boo, SNL star Pete Davidson, who the rapper has nicknamed "Skete."
On the track Eazy, which was released last month, Ye rapped, "God saved me from that crash, just so I can beat Pete Davidson's ass."
The following song, titled Security, included lines about putting someone's "security at risk," which comes after Kanye leaked texts messages from Kim begging him to stop putting Pete in harm's way with his social media tirades.
"Pop some, I ain't getting frisked. I put your security at risk. Pop some, I ain't getting frisked. I put your security at risk," West rapped over the soundtrack. 'OK, we gon' make this an event? Y'all gon' need security for this. Security gon' need security for this. Never take the family picture off the fridge. Never stand between a man and his kids. Y'all ain't got enough security for this."
