Kanye West & Kim Kardashian's Prenup Keeps Property Separate, Rapper's Objection To Divorce Plans 'Doesn't Make Sense'
Kanye West's reason for objecting to Kim Kardashian's divorce plans is total BS. RadarOnline.com is told their prenup squashes all of his worries, so the rapper's issue with Kim's request to terminate her marital status has left insiders scratching their heads.
Sources tell RadarOnline.com, the exes have a rock-solid prenup that protects their separate property. So, Kanye rushing to court and objecting to Kim wanting to be legally single because he's scared she'll remarry and take what's his "doesn't make sense."
Ye and Kim are still working out the details in their divorce battle, but the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star no longer wants to be legally married on paper to the rapper.
She wants the judge to reinstate her single status STAT.
Kim Kardashian Working To Speed Up Divorce Days After Kanye’s Attacks On Pete Davidson
DAILY. BREAKING. CELEBRITY NEWS. ALL FREE.
Days after RadarOnline.com exclusively reported that Kim asked the judge to speed up their divorce on Valentine's Day, Ye fired back — and here's why.
He believes Kim might wed again before they are able to work out their divorce kinks. If the judge makes her legally single, he's worried she'll move some of their joint assets to her separate account.
But our sources say that's not possible because of their prenup.
Kanye has three requirements that would make him comfortable. One: He wants to prevent Kim from transferring assets out of any trust they created together.
Two is a little darker. If either of them dies, the rapper wants any debt they owe each other paid.
And finally, which is way more confusing, Kanye wants all communication between them when it comes to their children part of the court record. If Kim remarries — ahem! we're looking at you, Pete Davidson — Ye wants their communication about his four kids available for the court record, too.
The judge will make a decision about Kim's marital status next month.
