Kanye West is currently packing up his bags after deciding to leave Los Angeles as the police plan to interview his alleged victim and potentially bring criminal charges against the rapper.
Sources close to the 44-year-old musician reveal Ye wants out of La La Land and head out to Coachella Valley to start work on his performance.
The festival announced Ye will be headlining the show this year after Travis Scott was pushed out following his Astroworld tragedy. An insider claims Kim Kardashian's soon-to-be ex-husband wants to focus on his music and putting together a sick show.
The only problem is the criminal investigation now hanging over Kanye's head. The decision to leave town is interesting given police will likely want to talk to Kanye about the incident that went down earlier this week.
Earlier this week, an autograph seeker claims he was standing outside the Soho Warehouse in DTLA when YE lost it and punched him in the face twice. A source says he punched the man in the head and then the neck. The alleged victim's head hit the ground hard following Kanye's second punch.
A video from the scene shows the aftermath of the incident. Ye can be seen walking off quickly as his female cousin pleads for him to stop. She is heard telling the rapper, "I am your family." In the short clip, the videographer films the alleged victim on the ground appearing to be in pain as he held his head.
The alleged victim has yet to release a statement on the matter but a civil lawsuit is likely being prepared.
As RadarOnline.com first reported, Kanye's estranged wife Kim Kardashian is booking it from Los Angeles to New York to watch her new man Pete Davidson perform on SNL this weekend. We're told the reality star has no plans to attend Coachella to see her ex's show.
