Joseph Duggar's ultra-religious father came down hard on the disgraced reality star after his arrest on charges of sexually molesting a minor, RadarOnline.com can report.
Jim Bob Duggar held little back in a blistering email sent to his son in jail, just days after his arrest.

Jim Bob Duggar sent an email to his jailed son, Joseph
Joseph sat in solitary confinement in Washington County, Arkansas, for a week while waiting to be transferred to Bay County, Florida on the charges.
During his time behind bars, he received emails from family members, including dad Jim Bob, who admitted his 31-year-old son has a "long road ahead," before scolding him for his alleged actions.
"You have made some terrible decisions, but God has already forgiven you if you have asked him," Jim Bob wrote, before mentioning Joseph's wife. "Kendra is doing well overall. She is trusting in the Lord. She loves you very much! Your kids are going to be okay."
Jim Bob told his son he was "praying for him," but warned him to get ready for what could likely come next.
"You are just going to have to accept the situation at this point, and it’s also fine to pray that God would have mercy on you, but you’re probably gonna face major consequences for several years to come."

Joseph and Jim Bob had a discussion while waiting for a flight home.
As Radar exclusively reported, Jim Bob has been by his son's side since his arrest, and the two were spotted together at the Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport eating a meal before a flight.
During the sighting, the father-son duo got to-go boxes and went to their gate to eat and chat. It wasn't unclear what they talked about, but at one point, Joseph could be seen pointing his finger at his father.
Another snapshot obtained by Radar revealed them sitting in chairs with open containers of food.

The father and son were spotted in Florida grabbing a bite before their flight.
Hours earlier, Joseph made his first court appearance, where a judge set his bond at $600,000 – $100,000 for the charge of "lewd and lascivious behavior conducted by an individual 18 years of age or older", and a $500,000 on the charge of "lewd and lascivious behavior, molesting a victim 12 years or under by an offender 18 years or older."
The second charge could lead to life in prison for the reality star, due to the age of the victim at the time.
Joseph was also ordered to have no contact with the alleged victim, and must have supervised contact around any other minors – including his own children.

Joseph's wife, Kendra, has supported him as well.
Joseph already knew how his father felt about his arrest, thanks to an earlier jailhouse call with his wife, Kendra, who tried to reassure him: "Just know that everybody loves you — even if they're disappointed."
She told her husband: "That's how things are," to which he responded, "Oh, I understand — I understand the disappointment."
Kendra then reassured him, "Just understand that they love you, too," to which Joseph said, "Oh, yeah, absolutely, I feel that — I'm not upset or anything like that."
