Ghislaine Maxwell has been hit with explosive charges accusing the longtime associate of Jeffrey Epstein of sex-trafficking a 14-year-old girl. In a new federal indictment, which was filed in Manhattan, the former New York socialite is being accused of paying the minor after she allegedly performed sexual acts on Epstein.
Maxwell is being accused of not only grooming and recruiting a number of underage girls for Epstein, but according to the new indictment, she allegedly provided cash to one of them for their service. According to the New York Times, the unidentified female claims that between 2001 and 2004 she provided nude massages to Epstein at his Palm Beach, Florida home.
The female says that once she was done giving Epstein erotic massages, Maxwell or another one of his other associates would pay her hundreds of dollars in cash. According to the documents, she claims that Maxwell and Epstein encouraged her to recruit other young women to provide sexual massages for the now-dead mogul.
In the new indictment, which also lists another 14-year-old girl, the female claims she in return brought several young girls who were also paid in cash for their services.
Maxwell has been in jail since July. The 59-year-old was arrested nine months ago in New Hampshire after being accused of recruiting underage girls for Epstein, as well as contributing to their abuse.
Maxwell pled not guilty to the original charges. She awaits trial in Manhattan Federal Court. As for Jeffrey Epstein, he hanged himself in his jail cell back in August 2019. The disgraced billionaire's suicide came just one month after he was charged and arrested for sexually exploding several girls and women at a number of his estates. He was 66 years old.
