A former Ohio social worker accused of having sex with a 13-year-old boy reportedly showed up to the victim’s house with a gun and threatened to kill the child's mother and herself, RadarOnline.com has learned.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, 24-year-old Payton Shires was arrested and charged with sexual conduct with a minor after she allegedly admitted to having sex multiple times with the 13-year-old, whom she was assigned to serve as a mental health counselor.
On Oct. 11, she was released from jail on a $50,000 bond.
As part of her bond, Shires was required to stay away from the teenager, authorities said.
Around 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 26, however, Shires allegedly went to the victim’s house, as Front Page Detectives reported.
She was carrying a handgun and threatened to kill his mother and herself, according to court records obtained by WCMH.
Police responded to the home around 5:40 p.m. and found Shires sitting on the porch with a gun to her head and a finger on the trigger, officials said.
Court documents show Shires allegedly told the teen’s mom that she wanted to kill her and herself “because she and the victim ruined her life and took everything from her.”
The victim’s mother was not at home when the incident occurred, but she saw Shires on the porch via a doorbell camera and called police, The Columbus Dispatch reported.
The doorbell camera reportedly malfunctioned at some point during the incident.

Shires was arrested and now faces additional charges of intimidation of a victim or witness, police said.
The suspect is prohibited from possessing a firearm, and her bond was increased $100,000. She is being held in the Franklin County Jail.
