Eminem's Adopted Daughter Alaina Scott Engaged To Boyfriend Matt Moeller, Shows Off Diamond Ring
Alaina Scott, Eminem’s adopted daughter, has announced that she is engaged to her long-time boyfriend Matt Moeller.
The 28-year-old revealed the news yesterday on her Instagram after posting a series of pictures, one of which showed Moeller down on one knee and taking her hand as they both smiled.
Alaina captioned this photo: “this moment. this life. yes, a hundred times over. I LOVE YOU.”
According to the photos posted by Alaina, the proposal took place on a rooftop, where Moeller proposed with a stunning and fabulous emerald-cut diamond set within a golden band.
Alaina is known for keeping a low profile, and was originally the 49-year-old rapper’s niece before he decided to adopt her and her sibling Stevie sometime in the early 2000’s.
Both Alaina and Stevie were the children of Eminem’s ex-wife’s twin sister, Dawn Scott, before he decided to adopt them both and raise them as his own because their mother was battling addiction. Dawn Scott sadly passed away in 2015.

"My niece has been part of my life ever since she was born,” Eminem said in an interview in 2004 regarding Alaina and his relationship to her. “Me and Kim pretty much had her, she'd live with us wherever we was at.”
Hailie Jade, Eminem’s 25-year-old biological daughter, is reportedly very close with both Alaina and Stevie, and Eminem raised the two as not only cousins, but also siblings, to each other.
Alaina’s engagement is happy news, coming only a few months after reports broke that Kim Scott, Alaina’s aunt and Eminem’s ex-wife, allegedly took a bunch of pills this past summer as part of a suicide attempt.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, one of Kim’s friends called 911 after finding Eminem’s ex in the bathroom and bleeding from her legs next to a suicide note.
Describing the situation, the still-unidentified female friend says she knew something was wrong when Kim wouldn’t let her into the bathroom.
"And I kept telling her, 'I'm coming in, I'm coming in,'" the friend told the operator, until she finally broke down the door handle and found Kim "laying on the floor.”
So far, there has been no word from Eminem himself regarding Alaina’s engagement.
