Ellen DeGeneres Spends Her Millions During Lavish Shopping Trip As Talk Show Host Is Set To Be Replaced By Kelly Clarkson As Queen Of Daytime TV
Ellen DeGeneres is showing she's not hard-pressed for cash after announcing her long-running talk show will be coming to an end.
The 63-year-old was spotted dropping some serious doubt during a shopping trip over the weekend.
DeGeneres was caught with some high-priced purchases on Saturday, just days after it was revealed she added another home to her $450 million real estate portfolio.
The TV host kept it casual for her day out in the ritzy area of Montecito, California, where she shares a home with her wife, Portia de Rossi.
Wearing jeans and a flannel shirt, DeGeneres looked relaxed in a jacket while holding onto a large shopping bag from luxury home boutique Hudson Grace.
Slipping a mask over her face, the controversial star couldn't hide from the paparazzi who eagerly snapped away amid rumors she's being replaced by country singer Kelly Clarkson as the Queen of Daytime TV.

The Ellen DeGeneres Show will end after its 19th season in 2022 and The Kelly Clarkson Show is reportedly set to take over the daytime slot.
"NBC believes Kelly is the perfect choice to take the throne from Ellen. They have invested so much money and time into the brand ... they really have faith in her to bring in that advertising revenue," sources revealed last month.
As RadarOnline.com reported, the American Idol winner has been groomed by network executives to take over DeGeneres' spot since she began her own talk show in 2019.
They aren't sad to see Ellen go either. We're told the network is "ecstatic" that she's ending her talk show after being accused of running a "toxic work environment."
"Nobody likes Ellen," an insider told us following the explosive allegations. "They have been wanting her gone forever. Kelly is a pleasure to work with and treats everyone on set kindly."
That's what makes Kelly Clarkson the best replacement for her.
"Everyone felt that Kelly was so easy to work with and was the perfect replacement for Ellen," our source said.
