Dorinda Medley Ready For 'RHONY' Comeback, Producers Scramble To Fix Show After Ratings Tank & Reunion Drama
Dorinda Medley is ready to make her Real Housewives of New York comeback amid a disastrous season with ratings at an all-time low.
The beloved 56-year-old star is open to returning to the Bravo television show and might be the producers' saving grace.
As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, RHONY's season 14 future is unclear with talk of putting the reality show on a "permanent hiatus."
Dorinda announced her departure from the franchise in August 2020, shocking fans after being a favorite for six years.
Speaking openly about the horrendous ratings on Behind The Velvet Rope with David Yontef, Dorinda gave Bravoholics hope by saying she's down to return to the failing show.
When asked about a potential comeback, she responded, "I would never say never. I don't say never to anything."
Plugging her upcoming appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Dorinda joked, "I'm going on Watch What Happens Live on Tuesday. So that'll be fun. I'm excited. I hope I remember how to do it. I really do. I'm actually getting nervous."
When it comes to season 13's tanking ratings, Dorinda said it's not all her former co-stars' fault.

"Well, listen, you know, what's been nice is that you know, we got to remember too. I'm not being, but it was COVID. It was a tough season to film. You know, it's one thing to do COVID filming when you're in Beverly Hills or New Jersey or stuff. You have all that outdoor space. You've got to remember we as New York girls, that's what we do. New York and people and restaurants," she stated, defending the ladies.
Admitting, "I'm incredibly pleased that, you know, people miss me and it's so nice to see all those memes and everything," Dorinda said her absence isn't the only reason for the show's bad ratings.
"I can't take full credit. I do think it was a tough year. Just, it is a tough year and you know, but I can't say much about that," she continued, joking, "Cause I'm on pause, like a good Memorex tape. I’m on pause!"
Dorinda might not be on this season of RHONY but she is still apart of the franchise. She's tapped to join the all-star for season two of the Real Housewives mash-up.
As RadarOnline.com reported, network officials are scrambling to fix RHONY after horrible ratings and reunion drama with Ramona Singer.
“There is still no confirmed date to shoot the reunion show after it being postponed twice. First, August 5th is canceled and now the September date has been canceled too. But even more concerning, there is no date to start filming season 14 on the books and talk about putting the show on permanent hiatus,” sources tell us.
