DMX's Fiancé Reveals Their 5-Year-Old Son Exodus Has Been Diagnosed With Stage 3 Kidney Disease
DMX’s fiancé Desiree Lindstrom revealed that their 5-year-old son Exodus had been diagnosed with stage 3 kidney disease.
Lindstorm broke the news on Raquel Harper's podcast It's Tricky. The mother of the late hip-hop legend’s 15th child went into great detail about the health of her 5-year-old son.
“Exodus is stable. He still has stage 3 kidney disease, and I continue to keep his potassium down," she clarified. “He goes to the doctor very often.”

Lindstorm shared the news of Exodus' health condition to raise awareness and made sure to thank the health officials taking care of her child.
"Exodus is an amazing child! Blessed to be his mother through this journey. March is the month that brings awareness to kidney disease." She then pleaded for people to research and get the help they need as soon as possible, "Take the time to learn about CKD. Knowledge is key. Thank you for the support [National Kidney Foundation.]"
The mother of one posted a video of her young son on Instagram wishing everyone a happy “National Kidney Day.” Exodus was all smiles in the video as he announced they were celebrating NKD.
Lindstorm included the message, "Blessings from our family to yours! Exidous is a CKD Warrior and an amazing child."
DMX died at the age of 50 after a reported cocaine-induced heart attack in April of last year. He was unable to be stabilized due to the lack of blood circulation going to his brain and died a week after the initial heart attack. He passed away in his hospital bed in Westchester County, New York.

DMX had 15 children from multiple women. His kids ages range from 2 to 22-years-old.
The hip-hop artist had three kids with Tashera Simmons, two with Yadira Borrego, one with Shikoya Walton, Sonovah Hillman, and one with late singer Aaliyah whom DMX had a close bond with before her untimely death.
