Autopsy Scheduled For Kaia Gerber's BFF Daniel Mickelson After 23-Year-Old’s Shocking Death, Actor Died At 'Residence'
The investigation into the death of Kaia Gerber's 23-year-old best friend Daniel Mickelson has been launched.
According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, the autopsy for the rising star has been scheduled and the exam is pending.
Normally, it will take place in the week after a person has passed. In records obtained by RadarOnline.com, Mickelson was listed as a 23-year-old who died on July 4, 2021. His cause of death and the manner of his death have yet to be determined.
The autopsy will hopefully provide answers on the mysterious death. Officials say Mickelson was found in an L.A. home. The Medical Examiner was unaware of any other medical conditions affecting the actor.
Daniel’s sister Meredith posted a heartbreaking note after his death was announced.
She shared a throwback snap of the two as children. Her message started, “my heart is shattered & to write this feels so wrong and i don’t even know what to say. Yesterday i lost my brother, best friend & the other half of my heart.”
“There wasn’t a person I loved more on this earth. theres no words that can do him justice that i could write. to know him was to love him. he was the happiest brightest smiley most sunshine human to exist and I’m so happy God chose me to be his sister for his whole amazing life,” she ended.

Kaia broke down after finding out about her best friend.
She said, “I remember that time we sat on the couch and spent the whole day coming up with our own secret language that we continued to speak every time we saw each other. I wish we could go back there. I wish we were still talking in sentences that probably annoyed everyone else but made us crack up every time."
"I wish I was still sitting on my bathroom floor FaceTiming you, because that was the only place I had wifi and I never wanted to miss a call from you," Kaia continued.
"Thank you for being the reason for so much laughter and happiness in the world. It won't be the same without you here. I love you Daniel,” she wrote.
