Chaz Bono has been facing claims of seeking Cher's money to fund his honeymoon, sparking tension over finances.

Cash-crazed Chaz Bono pleaded for dough to help bankroll his honeymoon with wife Shara Blue Mathes as his megabucks mom, Cher, lavishes time and money on his troubled half-sibling, Elijah Blue Allman, RadarOnline.com can reveal.
Bono, 57, posted the online request for monetary gifts with his bride ahead of their March 8 wedding in Los Angeles.
Cher Accused of Wedding Cash Snub
Cher sparked buzz with a diamond ring while attending Chaz Bono's wedding, fueling talk about her romance with Alexander Edwards.
"It's very hard to understand why Chaz would need to raise money. His mom is worth nearly half a billion dollars. People are wondering why she didn't just pay for it. She can certainly afford it," an insider said.
According to sources, Cher, 79, attended the nuptials of her firstborn with late singing partner ex Sonny Bono while wearing a massive diamond ring on her left hand, which fueled fresh chatter about her romance with Alexander Edwards, 39.
The Believe songbird was reportedly banned from the glam Hollywood ceremony before Chaz relented and invited her, prompting some pals to believe she's refusing to pony up the funds out of spite.
"It's no secret they have a tough relationship. Apparently, last year things were so tense Chaz cut her from the wedding guest list. Obviously, he did end up including her. But now that he's basically passing the hat to raise the money for his honeymoon, people are whispering that Cher's being cheap as some kind of power move," a source added.

A rep for Bono said honeymoon funds are 'the norm' despite questions over his request ahead of marrying Shara Blue Mathes.
However, as Chaz's rep pointed out: "Every couple offers gift registry options directly to their guests, as a honeymoon fund has become the norm in the economy we live in. Working adults are not funded throughout their lives by their parents, no matter who their parents are."
Meanwhile, Cher has reportedly been shelling out serious cash to aid younger son Elijah as he deals with legal problems and rehab struggles.

Now, sources said pals are questioning why Chaz isn't getting equal treatment and believe the disparity is putting a new strain on his relationship with his mom.
"Cher has been putting a ton of money and effort into helping Elijah through his issues, and here Chaz is having to beg for money to go to Hawaii. It seems obvious that she's playing favorites," the insider said.
