Charlie Sheen is firing back at Denise Richards' claim she was "blindsided" to learn his hefty child support checks were ending, alleging his ex-wife would have known if she had come to their court hearing.
The 56-year-old actor is calling out Denise after she alleged an insider claimed she wasn't notified of the court date.
“All parties were served and informed of the court date nearly three months ago,” Sheen's publicist, Jeff Ballard, told Us Weekly on Wednesday. “The judge would not have ruled had they not been. To claim otherwise is a complete fabrication.”
Of course, the ex-Two And A Half Men star couldn't let his team do all the talking for him.
"If [Denise] has a problem, she should go to the courthouse and talk to the judge," Sheen stated.
Sheen's request to stop paying Denise $25,000 per month for child support was granted after their oldest daughter, Sami, 17, moved out of the soap opera star's home.
Sami claimed her mom was running an "abusive household" while revealing she was much happier staying at her dad's place.
Denise was allegedly unaware Sheen's checks would stop rolling in. A source told Us Weekly, she was “working out of state," which "Charlie was well aware of." The insider stood strong, alleging Denise "was never served this court date.”
Denise also allegedly believes that Sheen is pinning their daughters against her. Besides Sami, the exes also share a 16-year-old daughter named Lola.
"He is making horrible parenting decisions," another insider told the outlet. "Charlie was constantly undercutting Denise for months before Sami moved out. It made parenting for Denise impossible. Denise only wants what is best for all three of her daughters. Her love for the kids is not in question.”
As RadarOnline.com reported, Sami made headlines when she went on TikTok and claimed she was "trapped in an abusive household" until moving in with her father.
Attempting to share her transformation story, Sami showed a before and after photo of herself and wrote, "Now: finally moved out of the hell house, had a spiritual awakening, own 2 cats, happy single, full of self love, and dropped out of high school."
Following the allegations, a source defended the actress.
“Denise set normal rules that any parent would be setting,” the insider told Page Six. “She’s a mom and a parent and there are rules. She didn’t want to follow the rules.”
