Britney Spears Looks Carefree While Defying Daddy By Driving Solo In First Outing Since Jamie Spears Files To End Conservatorship
Defying daddy never looked so good on Britney Spears! The 39-year-old pop icon took a victory lap in her car while driving solo, marking the first time she's been spotted since her father Jamie Spears filed to end her 13-year conservatorship.
Britney appeared carefree and on top of the world as she was photographed behind the wheel.
The Oops!... I Did It Again hitmaker was spotted taking her white Mercedes-AMG SL 63 out for a spin on Wednesday afternoon.
Britney wore a white shirt and round sunglasses while rocking her blonde hair down and wavy.
She gripped the steering wheel tightly and paid close attention to the road while driving around her Thousand Oaks, CA, neighborhood.
Britney did not appear to have her usual security in tow.
Driving was something that the Grammy winner brought up in her testimony, speaking out about Jamie's tight grip over her life while pleading with the judge to end her conservatorship in June.
"All I want is to own my money, for this to end, and my boyfriend [Sam Asghari] to drive me in his f---ing car. And I would honestly like to sue my family, to be totally honest with you," she said during her explosive testimony.

Driving solo is definitely Britney's first taste of freedom since Jamie randomly had a change of heart about his reign over her conservatorship after battling his daughter for years.
On Tuesday, Britney's father requested to end her conservatorship — a huge victory for the singer and a sigh of relief for her #FreeBritney fans around the globe.
Jamie appeared to change his tune about the star's sound, mind, and body, making it clear he feels she can handle her own life from here on out.
According to the court documents, Jamie said he was pulling the plug due to "recent events related to this conservatorship."
He also stated that Britney "presumably has capacity to handle other contractual and business matters."
While it appears that Britney is finally at the end of her conservatorship battle, many are raising eyebrows at Jamie's sudden switch.
