Britney Spears' Dogs Removed From Home, Housekeeper Accuses Singer Of Neglecting Pets Amid Battery Investigation
Britney Spears' dogs were taken from her home earlier this month, sparking the alleged battery incident between the singer and her housekeeper that is now being investigated.
The 39-year-old pop star dog sitter and housekeeper have allegedly accused Britney of neglecting her pets and removed the dogs from her Thousand Oaks, CA mansion after one of the pups fell sick.
Britney's dog sitter allegedly took her two dogs to the vet two weeks ago but never returned them. Sources claim the sitter — who is also a nurse — believed the pets weren't safe at the Grammy winner's home.
On August 10 — days before the alleged altercation took place between Britney and her housekeeper — Spears called the Ventura County Sheriff's Office to report an alleged theft.
Page Six reports when cops showed up at Britney's home, the pop star changed her mind.
On Monday, Britney allegedly confronted her housekeeper about the whereabouts of her dogs. She reportedly suspected that her dad Jamie Spears — who allegedly pays the housekeeper — was somehow involved in their disappearance.
Insiders claim the housekeeper showed Britney a picture of the dog, who had just vomited, and threw out the accusation that Spears had been neglecting her pups — which allegedly set Britney off.
The Ventura Country Sheriff's Department confirmed to RadarOnline.com, a staff member came into their office on Monday to report an alleged incident that occurred at 10:25 AM involving Britney.
