Bill Gates' estranged wife Melinda isn't playing when it comes to her safety.
The Microsoft mogul's ex was spotted with presidential-level security as their nasty divorce battle rages on with $128 billion on the line.
The soon-to-be-former Mrs. Bill Gates was flanked by a total of six security guards and three SUVs when she arrived at Zero Bond, a private club in New York City, on Thursday.
Insiders saw Melinda but were unable to get close due to the intense level of security.
The amount of security measures she took for her day out in the city is a little extreme. As one celebrity scene queen pointed out, even Hollywood's most elite only travel with a maximum of two cars holding their safety team.
According to the insider, Melinda's level of security is usually reserved for those of high government stature, or former presidents.
While Bill Gates' estranged wife blows money on adding to her security team and frolics in the city, the 65-year-old billionaire was on the "verge of tears" in front of his fellow foes when discussing their divorce.
As RadarOnline.com reported, Gates attended the annual "Billionaire Summer Camp" in Sun Valley, Idaho.
He was there to schmooze with the likes of Amazon's Jeff Bezos, Patriots owner Robert Kraft, and Disney's Bob Iger. Instead of knocking his appearance out of the park, he reportedly wallowed over his split with Melinda.

Melinda filed for divorce in May after 27 years of marriage.
Gates was on the stage during a question and answer segment when the host asked him about his divorce.
"He fessed up to messing up. He basically referred to the fact that it [the divorce] was his fault," an insider revealed.
“He did seem a bit emotional about it. He might have been on the verge of tears,” the source added.
Following the divorce filing, rumors quickly circulated that Gates once told his buddies they had a "loveless" marriage.
The New York Times also posted a bombshell report claiming the mogul “pursued women who worked for him at Microsoft and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.”
Following the report, Bill admitted he had an affair over 20 years ago with an ex-employee at Microsoft.
