Andy Cohen Is Confident Porsha Williams Is Not Quitting 'The Real Housewives Of Atlanta' Forever, As Reality Star Teases Upcoming Spin-Off Show
Bravo boss Andy Cohen is fairly certain Porsha Williams' exit from The Real Housewives of Atlanta will be "more of a PAUSE than a goodbye," which makes sense considering the 40-year-old reality star will soon be starring in a spin-off show about her blossoming life with her fiancé, Simon Guobadia.
Cohen made the remark after Williams took to Instagram to confirm what we already knew – that she would be stepping down from her peach-holding duties after serving a full decade as a full-time RHOA Housewife.
"After ten life-changing, gratifying, incredible years, it is finally time to begin my next chapter," Porsha explained to her 6.6 million followers on Thursday. "Next season, I will not be returning to the Real Housewives of Atlanta franchise."
"This was a difficult decision to not only make, but also come to terms with. It's one I have put a lot of thought into and because of that, I know it's the right one," noted the mother of one.
She went on to "thank Bravo, Truly Original, and Andy Cohen for this opportunity, and all the show's producers, editors, and assistants, for working tirelessly every day to create our show."
"I have so much love and endless gratitude for my Bravo family and supporters," she continued. "You've made the past decade a truly special one. One where I've dealt with unbelievable highs and unbelievable lows, and I can honestly say I would not have made it through some of them without the unconditional love and support I have gotten from all of you."
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Williams has been hard at work on her own show featuring her new family, which is probably why she cautioned her fans to not "worry," noting, "I'll be back on your TV very soon [wink face emoji]."
"I can't wait to share all of my exciting new endeavors with the world – beginning with the release of my memoir, The Pursuit of Porsha, out on November 16," she added. "As for the rest, you'll just have to wait and see! Love ya! #ThePursuitofPorsha #DecaturGirl."
Andy's response was also quite telling, as he gushed over the woman who went from thinking the Underground Railroads used during the pre-Civil War era involved actual trains, to being one of the most powerful voices of this generation's Black Lives Matter movement.

"What a run. What an evolution," commented Cohen on the share. "As we discussed, I'm gonna go ahead and consider this more of a PAUSE than a goodbye." He even added eight red heart emojis.
Replying to Andy, Porsha wrote back, "I'm so thankful for you believing in me and trusting the world needed to know a lil girl from decatur!!"
The spin-off show should be interesting, to say the least, given the way Williams' relationship with Guobadia began.
RHOA viewers first met Simon last season, when he was married to Porsha's friend, Falynn Guobadia.
In April, Falynn announced that she and Simon were ending their marriage.
Not even a month later, Porsha shocked the world when she revealed she was not only dating him but that they were also engaged.
Despite the seemingly scandalous timing, we were told that Simon filed for divorce in January because he thought Falynn had cheated on him with "multiple" men, including her assistant-turned-current boyfriend, Jaylan Banks. The two are now expecting their first child together.
Simon will be Porsha's second husband but third fiancé. She was previously married to retired NFL star Kordell Stewart from 2011 to 2013, then got engaged (the first time) to baby daddy Dennis McKinley in 2018. The two share 2-year-old daughter Pilar Jhena McKinnley.
