Amanda Bynes will remain under her conservatorship until at least 2023 following an explosive year, which included being ordered into a psychiatric facility for her mental health.
According to The Blast, the judge in charge of 35-year-old former Nickelodeon star's longtime conservatorship has extended it until January 2023.
After reading a letter from Bynes' legal team, the judge reportedly decided it was best that the She's All That star remain under watchful care.
The details surrounding what the letter said remains confidential.
The latest update in Bynes' conservatorship comes following a rollercoaster of a year for the star.
Bynes spent 30 days in a Pasadena psychiatric facility, receiving treatment for her mental health.
She revealed she was engaged to be married to Paul Michael after meeting him in rehab.
Bynes also told her followers she was pregnant, posting a sonogram and announcing the exciting news of her first child.
According to reports, The Amanda Show actress is no longer pregnant; however, she has remained silent on the topic.
In December, Paul gave an update about their relationship, confirming they are still engaged. He made no mention of their baby.
"We're doing great," he told E! News. "We go on walks and work every day, like to get coffee, and talk about living together one day. We are limited to what we can do in this pandemic so even if we want to do more, we are limited. [We plan on] spending the holidays together for a family dinner, also going to plan the wedding after we live together."
"We take good care of each other and we're understanding of one another and she is a good listener and we're there for each other," Paul continued. "We have the best time and I love spending every second with her. She is the best thing that ever happened to me."
Amanda's extension comes as fellow star Britney Spears continues to battle her father Jamie Spears in her 13-year conservatorship.
The pop icon proved triumphant when her dad filed paperwork agreeing to end the conservatorship, but mixed reports claim he might have some ulterior motives.
Britney's personal life is soaring. Like Amanda, the singer is engaged to marry her longtime boyfriend, Sam Asghari.
