Christmas present gone wrong!

NFL correspondent Jane Slater discovered her ex-boyfriend was cheating on her through the FitBit that he gifted her!

The shocking revelation came amid an online Twitter debate about Peloton's holiday ad.

Among those pro-Peloton was NFL reporter Albert Breer, who disclosed he'd given his wife a Peloton Bike three years ago.

"She was not offended,"Breer said, to which Slater replied with her own experience.

According to Slater, her ex boyfriend gave her a FitBit one Christmas and she was extremely grateful as they “synched up, motivated each” others’ healthy lifestyle.

Through the same device, however, she would later find out that her ex-lover was cheating on her.

“I loved it,” she tweeted. “Didn’t hate it until he was unaccounted for at 4am and his physical activity levels were spiking on the app.”

“Wish the story wasn’t real,” she added.

And for those followers who didn't quite understand, she clarified that her ex wasn't working out at Orange Theory in the wee hours of the morning.

Following the tweet, users guessed possible things her ex could have been doing at that time.

One message suggested he might have been playing Wii U pro.

"Maybe he was a former three year high school football letterman like me who rises at 4 am every morning to run routes in cleats," the user wrote.

Various comments of people sharing their own horrible revelations flooded Slater's feed.

"Jane! My ex husband got caught in an affair because he was wearing the training watch and heartbeat monitor my mom bought him for Christmas - while ,'running,'" another user shared. "It was the under-one-minute heart rate spike that confirmed things for me!"

Others sympathized with the Dallas Cowboys reporter, offering words of consolation and thanking her for bringing attention to the fact that they should check their exercise devices to determine whether or not their partners are faithful.

“Jane Slater, sorry to hear this but you just started a movement. There are thousands now checking their spouses Fitbit. FYI i see a pretty hilarious Super Bowl commercial coming from this,” one person said.
