Rocker Eddie Money Dies At 70 After Battle With Esophageal Cancer

Rock star Eddie Money died on Friday, September 13 following a battle with stage 4 esophageal cancer, RadarOnline.com can confirm.
The singer's family released a statement this morning to confirm his sudden passing.
“The Money Family regrets to announce that Eddie passed away peacefully early this morning,” it read. “It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our loving husband and father. We cannot imagine our world without him. We are grateful that he will live on forever through his music.”
As readers know, Money's health had been getting in the way of his professional gigs. Back in July, RadarOnline.com reported, the rocker, 70, canceled his summer tour after his developed pneumonia following a heart valve surgery. He had also nixed his plans to join Rick Springfield on tour due to "shortness of breath."
Prior to his death, Money made his return with a new album Brand New Day as well as the second season of his family based AXS reality show Real Money.
