Larry King claimed he and his wife separated more than two months before he filed for divorce, according to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com.

The 85-year-old TV legend filed for divorce in Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 citing “irreconcilable differences,” the court papers stated.

Larry noted that he married Shawn King on September 5, 1997 and they separated on June 6 ,2019, 22 years after they first tied the knot.

Larry’s documents noted that he did not have details about separation of property and assets.

“Petitioner has yet to determine the full nature and extent of the community and quasi-community property assets and debts. Petition reserves the right to amend this petition or to confirm the petition to proof at trial,” the documents noted.

Larry’s court papers obtained by RadarOnline.com noted: “Petitioner has yet to determine the full nature and extent of his separate property assets and debts. Petitioner reserves the right to amend this petition or to confirm the petition to prove at trial.”

This would be the eighth divorce for Larry, who has been married to seven women, marrying Playboy model Alene Atkins twice.
