YouTube Star Emily Hartridge, 35, Killed In Horrific Electric Scooter Crash

British YouTube star Emily Hartridge has died.
The 35-year-old was riding an electric scooter on Friday, July 13, when she crashed into a truck, RadarOnline.com has learned. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
A loved one posted the tragic news this Saturday, on Hartridge’s Instagram page.
“Hi everyone. This is a horrible thing to have to say over Instagram but we know many of you were expecting to see Emily today and this is the only way to contact you all at once,” the post read. “Emily was involved in an accident yesterday and passed away. We all loved her to bits and she will never be forgotten. She has touched so many lives it’s hard to imagine things without her. She was a very special person.”
Hartridge — who started her YouTube channel seven years ago — was better known for her “10 Reasons Why…” videos, in which she addressed a variety of life topics such as love, sex, and mental health. These often gained 3,000,000 views a month. After gaining fame with her clips, she went on to host various TV shows such as 4OD’s Oh Sh*t I’m 30.
On their Twitter page, YouTube Creators voiced their sadness over Hartridge’s death.
“We're deeply saddened to learn about the tragic loss of a truly talented British creator, Emily Hartridge. Our thoughts and condolences go out to all of her loved ones and fans,” they wrote.
According to The Guardian, Hartridge’s electric scooter crash was “the first fatal collision involving an e-scooter in Britain.”
