Kendall Jenner is cashing in on her supermodel success, as RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned she is launching her own high fashion label!
On May 10 — the same day that billionaire sister filed a patent and trademark for Kylie Hair and Kylie Baby — Kendall also filed a patent and trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office under the name "Kendall" and "Kendall Jenner."
In her filing, the 23-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star stated her line will consist of "Bottoms as clothing, Coats, Dresses, Footwear, Gloves, Headbands, Headwear, Jackets, Loungewear, Scarves, Sleepwear, Socks, Swimwear, Tops as clothing and Undergarments."
And according to a source close to the KUWTK clan, she is doing it all on her own!
"She is fed up with the way that her mother Kris favors Kylie and her other sisters and has helped them all develop their own brands," the source said.
"Kendall's line is going to be geared towards high fashion and she feels that she can corner the market because she knows that she has cemented her status as a fashion icon."
Needless to say, with the help of Kendall's supermodel squad, her clothes will likely fly off the shelves!
As for the Kendall & Kylie Collection, the fashion line which the sisters started nearly a decade ago, it's still going strong — on its own!
"As far as their Kendall & Kylie Collection, yes it is still active but Kendall has very little involvement in it at this point and neither does Kylie. Their clothes sell for themselves and that is why they are distributed by outside vendors," the insider added.
