Former Bachelor star Melissa Rycroft is the latest American to have fallen ill while on vacation in the Dominican Republic.

On her Instagram stories this week, Rycroft — who appeared on season 13 of the ABC show — said she’s had mysteriously low blood pressure, high-fever and extreme stomach cramping.

Her symptoms are similar to those other tourists in the area have been having.

As RadarOnline.com readers know, eight Americans have died in the Caribbean island in the last few months, and many others have contracted mysterious illnesses. Locals officials still have not revealed what is killing the tourists, but many worried vacationers are canceling their DR trips due to the scary epidemic.

“After a really rough week, I have been put on a liquid diet, and given meds for my severe cramping. Fingers crossed this goes away in 3 days - doc says next step is a Parasite test if it doesn’t,” Rycroft, 36, captioned a shot of her sitting at a doctor’s office this weekend.

The former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader was staying with her husband and three kids at the Nickelodeon Resort in Punta Cana(which costs $1,100 a night) when she started to feel sick with stomach pains. The symptoms were bearable, but when she returned home, they worsened.
