The Elvis impersonator who officiated Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner's Las Vegas wedding told RadarOnline.com he was totally caught off guard when he realized he was marrying the A-listers!
Jesse Grice — who played the role of reverend in the ceremony — explained that he knew about the ceremony days ago but didn’t realize who the couple was until he saw them.
"It was great! I had no idea who I was officiating until they showed up," Grice said. "It was such a good surprise."
RadarOnline.com readers know Sophie, 23, and Joe, 29, said “I do” with ring-pops this Thursday, April 1, after the Billboard Music Awards. And though fans were shocked by the seemingly-last minute ceremony, Grice said "I knew that I had this gig a week ago.”
The “Sucker” singer and the Game of Thrones actress booked A Little White Wedding Chapel for the entire evening on May 1 from 8:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
"They couldn't stop smiling," Grice told RadarOnline.com. "They were so happy."
Hours before reciting their vows, the love birds were caught looking exited at the BMAs, where Joe and the The Jonas Brothers rocked their first awards show performance in 10 years!
Brothers Nick Jonas, Kevin Jonas, and their wives, Priyanka Chopra and Danielle Jonas were also at the show, and rushed off to Joe and Sophie’s wedding for the afterparty.
