Sonja Morgan Says Co-Star Bethenny Frankel's New Boyfriend Is Her 'Soulmate'

Sonja Morgan is thrilled that her The Real Housewives of New York co-star Bethenny Frankel has a new boyfriend.

Bethenny, 48, has been dating businessman Paul Bernon, and Sonja exclusively told RadarOnline.com on Friday, April 26, 2019 at the St. Regis Hotel that she couldn't be happier for her friend.

That's especially true because of Bethenny's bitter custody battle with her husband Jason Hoppy over their daughter Bryn — and her former beau Dennis Shields' tragic alleged overdose death.

Sonja was in Washington D.C. to attend a gala for Progress Humanity, a non-profit aimed at fighting violent conflict worldwide, held at the United States Institute of Peace in Washington D.C.

When asked about Bethenny's relationship with Paul, Sonja, 55, told RadarOnline.com, "I think it's great. She's gone through such a hard time and for her to have someone that she cares for and wants to hold his hand and share her life with her daughter with, all the power to it."

As RadarOnline.com readers know, Bethenny has fought her ex-husband Jason for years. The tumultuous two, who married in 2010 and separated in 2012, have fought over money, their home, and most importantly, custody of Bryn.

"Bethenny has had to deal with her ex's drama for way too long and it's time," Sonja said about the divorce getting settled. "It's past time. She is finally going to be done with this for the most part and meeting Paul after everything that has happened to her really is full circle. She loses her best friend and now she's met her soulmate!"

Paul recently accompanied Bethenny to court as she fought it out with Jason, as RadarOnline.com reported.

Another man Bethenny once loved, Dennis, 51, died on August 10, 2018 in his New York City high rise home.

The New York Post reported that the RHONY guest star had allegedly overdosed on prescription pills.

Fans have seen Bethenny sobbing over Dennis on RHONY.

Sonja recalled, "She was very close with Dennis and he had a great relationship with her daughter. I was really worried about Bethenny going into a really dark place when he died."

However, Bethenny has clearly bounced back and her caring co-star revealed to RadarOnline.com that Paul also has a "great relationship" with little Bryn.
