Jessica Simpson is determined to lose her baby weight, but she wants her husband Eric Johnson to drop a few pounds as well, RadarOnline.com can exclusively report.
Johnson allegedly eats more than Simpson and their kids, even during her pregnancy, but Simpson’s plans are to change things up, enforce a strict diet and exercise regime, and get him to “fit into the nice suits she bought him when they got married.”
“Eric eats like a circus animal and while he’s in charge of the grocery shopping and a lot of the cooking in the house, he’s anything but health conscious,” a source told RadarOnline.com about Johnson’s eating habits. He "would keep indulging in junk food but Jessica is determined that they’ll both get into tip-top shape again.”
Johnson, 39, is said to have agreed to joining Simpson, 38, on a quest to slimming down that was supposed to start once the baby arrived. Now that baby Birdie is here, only time will tell whether they stick to their weight loss goals!!
It’s no secret that Simpson and Johnson had quite the appetite during her pregnancy. On one occasion, RadarOnline.com exclusively reported their outing at Lucille’s Smoke House BBQ in Woodland Hills, California where she indulged in ribs, chicken, mac and cheese and beans, before having an ice cream pie for dessert.
Friends of the source spoke to RadarOnline.com about her problems overeating and giving in to her cravings while pregnant.
“She’s so big that some guess she’s gained around 100 pounds during this pregnancy,” a source confided. “Jessica is extremely sensitive about the way she looks, and yet she refuses to fight her cravings.”
The source continued, sharing an extensive list of some of her favorite comfort foods, which she often ordered on Postmates. Fried chicken and waffles with maple syrup and butter, buttermilk biscuits, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes with gravy and fish and chips, Coke, grape and orange soda, and other sugary drinks were some of the foods mentioned.
Simpson and Johnson are parents to Maxwell, 6, Ace, 5, and Birdie, who was born a few days ago on March 19th.
