Amy Duggar King and her husband Dillon King are having a baby!
PEOPLE broke the pregnancy news on Easter Sunday, April 21, 2019, and noted that their first child is due in October.
"We are completely speechless, overly excited and ready for the next chapter as new parents!" Amy and Dillon told the publication.
The baby has been a long time coming—at least by Duggar standards—as the two married in 2015 in Bentonville, Arkansas.
Amy, 32, is a cousin to Josh, Jill, Jessa, and the rest of the famed reality TV clan from 19 Kids and Counting and Counting On.
In fall 2018, Amy exclusively let RadarOnline.com know that she hadn't wanted to follow in her family's footsteps and have a baby right away after her wedding.
"I didn't want to limit myself by just getting pregnant right off the bat and not exploring the rest of what my life could be," Amy explained.
But she and Dillon then dropped pregnancy hints and in December 2018, he said, "The kids are coming. We've been practicing."
Now with one on the way he's admitted to PEOPLE, "The learning curve of being a new father is kind of terrifying, but at the same time equally astonishing."
Amy revealed she has a new pregnancy diet: "I miss Chick-fil-A. Baby King isn't a fan of chicken."
But she added, "I'm over the moon about becoming a momma! I just can't hardly wait!"
The Duggar women are known for their tradition of starting a family shortly after tying the knot, which is what Jinger, Kendra, and Joy-Anna did.
But former 19 Kids and Counting star Amy is known for her independent streak and told RadarOnline.com that she wanted the other areas of her life to be stable before having a baby.
"I want to be settled," she said at the time. Amy focused on building a strong relationship with her husband.
The business owner has revealed that she and Dillon have a wild sex life! But the rebellious Duggar cousin also has candidly admitted going through marriage struggles.
"After my mom and dad's divorce, I was so scared," Amy confessed. "Dillon and I would argue. I thought, oh my gosh, we're going to get divorced."
Amy's parents, Deanna and Jerry Jordan, went through a nasty split in 2015, as, RadarOnline.com reported.
However, Amy and Dillon worked through some of their own issues on Marriage Boot Camp in 2017.
In the past, Amy has reportedly been prohibited from speaking out about the other Duggars.
But now, she and her husband have a lot to celebrate with a baby on board!
