Prince Harry is to blame for the rift between Meghan Markle and her Stateside family.

Half-sister Samantha Markle believes that the British Royal's insensitive comments on a radio show deepened the rift.

Speaking on BBC Radio 4, Harry addressed whether she had to get used to any new festive traditions.

He said: "She's done an amazing job, you know it's the family I suppose she's never had."

The remark angered the family, including Samantha, feeling snubbed by Meghan and her husband.

Now, speaking on Channel 5's new documentary Meghan and the Markles: A Family at War, Samantha revealed how the family were hurt by the comments, believing Meghan was "embarrassed" by them.

She said: "The first thing I thought was I don't think Harry has been given the full story.

"Something was not right. Though we weren't the classic family together on schedule for every holiday, we were family.

"Then we questioned why… why would she be embarrassed about her family, why would you need to set the stage differently.

"It was starting to feel like she wasn't reaching out to the family."

Samantha went on to explain why she blasted her sister for wearing a dress worth $100,000 for her engagement shoot.

She she thought it was wrong of her because she had often campaigned to help those in poverty and living without financial means.

Samantha also claimed that her family was deliberately snubbed from attending the Royal wedding last year.

The Duchess Of Sussex has ignored pleas from her father, Thomas Markle, to re-connect with him and his family once again.

The pregnant former Suits actress remains close to her mother Doria Ragland.
