Hours after Leaving Neverland, the scathing documentary about Michael Jackson’s life as an alleged sexual predator, was released on HBO, the late star’s nephew jumped to his defense.

During a talk with Good Morning Britain, Taj Jackson slammed the King of Pop’s two outspoken accusers, saying they made up lies about the icon for their own monetary gains.

“My uncle was probably one of the most scrutinized people in the world. From the FBI investigating him for 10 years, to 300 pages of documents, to court cases, to everything else, to wiretapping,” said Taj.

Despite the men’s explicit accounts of the alleged sexual abuse, the Jackson family has vehemently denied their claims — though RadarOnline.com learned that the music legend’s daughter, Paris Jackson, no longer knows what to believe.

“It would have to be the most elaborate scheme the world has ever seen,” said Taj, adding that investigators should look into the accusers’ “motives” and “credibility.”

Taj said he comprehends both sides of the case, but knows in his heart that the accusers’ accounts are fabricated.

“I understand that when it’s an alleged victim it’s hard to investigate them in that way, but he’s not here to defend himself… and if you do a 10-minute search on these people, you would find out really the story,” said Taj.
