Jennie Garth Slams Trolls Over Lack Of Luke Perry Tribute After His Shock Death
Jennie Garth is not pleased with the ‘haters’ after the shock death of her former co-star Luke Perry.
Unlike many others, Garth chose not to take to social media to mourn her Beverly Hills 90210 alum Perry.
And this did not go down well with a lot of the show’s fans after his sudden death.
Garth set the record straight this weekend after she shared a photograph of her daughters via Instagram.
In honor of International Women’s Day on Friday, the 46-year-old actress posted a pic of daughters Luca, 21, Lola, 16, Fiona, 12.
DAILY. BREAKING. CELEBRITY NEWS. ALL FREE.
It was her first post since Perry died on March 4, 2019.
In the comments section, some Instagram users questioned why the actress had not spoken about Perry.
When one fan said she was not mourning him – she hit back by saying ‘not cool’ in her response.
She went on to explain in a separate comment that wanting “to celebrate anything” had been difficult for her in the wake of Perry’s death.
She wrote: “Hi everyone… I chose to post a pic of my girls today. Because they are my life. Because today is a day to celebrate all women. It took a lot for me to want to celebrate anything. I thought about it and I know that’s the way my dear friend would have wanted it. His kids were his life and anyone who knew him knows that and knows he didn’t give a f*#k about social media.”
Sadly, popular Perry died, aged only 52, after suffering a massive stroke at his Los Angeles home.
