Ex-Vogue Supermodel Nastasia Urbano Broke & Living On The Streets After Messy Divorce

Nastasia Urbano was a supermodel in the 1980’s, making over a million dollars a year at her peak. Now, RadaOnline.com has learned she’s homeless, and has lost nearly everything.
In her prime, Urbano, 57, modeled for high-profile brands including Vogue, Revlon and Yves Saint Laurent.
“I did all the magazines, I was loved by everybody. I was given a million dollars a year for only 20 days of work, for three or four years,” Urbano, 57, told the Spanish publication El Periódico.
“I was having dinner one day with Jack Nicholson, the following day with Andy Warhol or even Roman Polanski or Harrison Ford.”
But the beauty queen’s perfect life came to a crashing halt after a bitter divorce from her ex-husband and father of her kids left her with “nothing but the clothes on my back.”
Urbano — who suffers from depression — has since been evicted from a series of homes due to her inability to pay the rent.

Now, with no money and no home, she spends her nights sleeping on friends' sofas or in bank foyers where automated doors give customers access to ATMs.
The one-time cover girl says she is hesitant to ask friends for help because she doesn’t want to be a burden.
“I’m tired of surviving and asking for money,” she told El Periódico. “The people around me move away, they all leave, and I’m not surprised.”
Since news of her current condition spread, former colleagues and members of the modelling world have been reaching out to Urbano, hoping to help her get back on her feet.
Though she’s embarrassed by her situation, she’s extremely appreciative of their aide.
“I want my children to see me well” she admitted. “I want to recover as a person and to be OK, so they can be proud of me.”
