While Taylor Kinney’s ex-fiance Lady Gaga is snatching up awards for the box office hit A Star Is Born, he’s on the house hunt and scooping up property for someone special in his life – his mom!
According to property records uncovered exclusively by RadarOnline.com, the Chicago Fire star plunked down some serious star cash on a nearly $1.2 million eight-bedroom mansion in his hometown of Lancaster, Penn.
The 37-year-old purchased the pricey property under his business name Skunkly Inc. and it was just in time for the holidays with his mom Pamela moving in last December.
The 6,800 square foot stately home is located on a private road next to a tony country club. The colonial mansion boasts an impressive center hall, custom chefs kitchen and magnificent nine-foot ceilings. Set on more than three acres of land, Kinney’s new home away from Hollywood with his family has unique accents including a Koi pond, built-in grill and plenty of porch space for entertaining.
Kinney, who plays fireman Kelly Severide on the hit NBC drama, wasn’t only generous with his family when it came to giving back.
On Christmas Eve, he reportedly came to the rescue of an elderly Lancaster man whose tire blew out.
He’s also doling out plenty of kudos for Gaga, who’s nominated for a Best Actress Academy Award. The 32-year-old, who’s admitted to still being close to Kinney, is now engaged to her talent agent Christian Carino.
“I’m really proud," said Kinney about his ex, who he split in 2016 after a five-year romance. "It’s watching someone live their dream, so... continued success, and I hope it keeps climbing."
