Kim Zolciak is learning to defend her family.

The reality star was spotted at a shooting range on the latest episode of her show Don't Be Tardy.

As the group - including husband Kroy Biermann and chef Tracey – talked about a trip to the gun range to learn self-protection Kim got reflective.

"And the sad thing is you realize you weren't there to protect my children," she explained.

They all dressed to impress at the shooting range.

As Kim, Kroy, Tracey and Brielle, left their car on their way to the range Tracey joked: ''Who wears high heels to the gun range?!"

However, Kroy, was much more serious after he revealed: "I think the break-in brings Brielle moving out to the forefront."

Brielle was determined to move out of her family's house as she and her BFF Brandon go to look at an apartment with a realtor.

"I can't wait to prove everyone wrong," she said.

"My mom has been trying to talk me out of this for 21 years. It's time for me to grow up and move out," she continued.

Her sister, Ariana, 16, wants to get more independence by getting driving lessons from Kroy.

And Kroy may have shocked some fans when he revealed they are keeping the family dog 'Sin' even though he bit their son, Kash, in the face.

"We feel safe now," revealed the former NFL football player.
