Ellen DeGeneres has blasted hypocrite Hollywood homosexuals for not following her lead and coming out of the closet !

"For five minutes, it was celebrated," the talk show queen said, recalling her 1997 admission she is a lesbian.

"Then everyone changed their minds," she continued. "Instead they were like little meerkats, poking out their heads, seeing how it was going for me, then deciding to go back into their holes."

Disclosing her sexuality nearly wrecked her career, DeGeneres noted.

"I lost my sitcom when I came out," she said — and for the next three years, she was shunned by Hollywood.

"When I was offered the chat show, they said, 'No one's going to watch it," explained DeGeneres. "No one's going to watch a lesbian during the day!'"

Desperate to succeed, she dolled up for her return.

"My hair was different, I had to wear necklaces — crazy things," DeGeneres, 61, recalled, adding, "I started Season 16 this year, so it turns out they will watch a lesbian during the day."
